I am always after nuggets beyond generalized details--I try to give the characters I illustrate details that describe their inner life and how they exist in their universe. For example, I might add bandages to the hands of a tinkerer, or I might consider the fit of clothing for characters that have inherited things from relatives.

I believe in making inclusive art, and try to depict characters of different genders, skin tones, abilities, orientations, and backgrounds.
